Freelance Site Manager – Cat B Office Fit-Out (Didcot)
We’re currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a Cat B office fit-out project in Didcot. This is a freelance contract running up until Christmas, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Role Overview:
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality and safety. You’ll be coordinating subcontractors, liaising with clients, and maintaining a smooth, efficient build process.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing on-site activities and ensuring compliance with H&S regulations
*
Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring quality workmanship
*
Maintaining progress reports and communicating updates to the Project Manager
*
Ensuring all works are completed within programme timelines
*
Managing site logistics and problem-solving any on-site issues
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager on Cat B commercial office fit-out projects
*
Strong organisational and communication skills
*
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification (essential)
*
Ability to work independently and proactively manage site activities
*
Freelance availability through to Christmas
