We are currently recruiting for a stand-alone Site Manager to lead the delivery of a £3 million retail new build project in Swindon. This is a fast-paced scheme with a 6-month programme, and we’re looking for a strong number one manager to take full site control.
Project Overview:
The scheme consists of the construction of a new-build standalone retail unit including:
*
Groundworks and foundations
*
Steel frame erection
*
External cladding and roofing
*
Internal fit-out and M&E coordination
*
External works including car parking and access
Key Responsibilities:
*
Day-to-day management of the site and subcontractors
*
Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site
*
Coordinating materials, deliveries, and plant
*
Driving programme and ensuring milestones are met
*
Liaising with the client team and reporting progress
*
Managing quality assurance and snagging
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a No.1 Site Manager on retail or commercial new builds
*
Strong understanding of the full build process from groundworks through to handover
*
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid – essential
*
Ability to lead on site and coordinate multiple subcontract packages
*
Strong organisational and communication skills
