An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established regional contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of new build and refurbishment projects across the residential, healthcare, commercial and education sectors throughout Oxfordshire. Projects typically range in value from £300k to £5m and often include complex, high-quality and occasionally listed buildings, requiring strong leadership, attention to detail and excellent stakeholder management. Site Manager Role Description: As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of live sites, ensuring projects are delivered

safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards . You will be a visible leader on site, coordinating subcontractors, managing logistics and working closely with the wider project team to ensure smooth and efficient delivery. Site Manager Key Responsibilities:

Full day-to-day management of site operations from start to completion

Managing subcontractors, site staff and suppliers to meet programme and quality targets

Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health and safety regulations and company procedures

Coordinating site logistics, sequencing works and resolving technical or programme issues

Working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams to maintain clear communication

Maintaining high standards of workmanship and presentation on site

Monitoring progress against programme and reporting on site performance

Ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and building regulations

Site Manager Criteria: Proven experience as a

Site Manager

delivering new build and refurbishment projects

Experience working on

complex or listed buildings

is highly desirable

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple trades

Well-organised, proactive and able to work under pressure

Construction-related qualification or strong trade background

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (preferred)

Full UK Driving Licence
