Freelance Commercial Groundworks Site Manager (CIS / Ltd Co)

Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
Rate: £290 – £320 per day (CIS / Ltd Company)

We are recruiting for an experienced Freelance Groundworks Site Manager to manage a Residnetial groundworks package on a project based in Leeds. This role is offered on a CIS or Ltd Company basis and provides a long-term contract for the right individual.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the groundworks package is delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all on-site groundworks activities from start to completion

*

Oversee drainage, foundations, services, concrete works, and external works, 278 works

*

Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, RAMS, and site procedures

*

Liaise with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and client teams

*

Maintain accurate site documentation, progress reports, and daily briefings

*

Drive programme delivery and quality control

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial groundworks projects

*

Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification

Strong understanding of groundworks sequencing and site logistics
