As a rapidly growing organisation, attracting and retaining top talent is key to continued success. The company is committed to creating a supportive, challenging, and rewarding work environment, and is recognised for its focus on equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.

Due to ongoing growth, the company is seeking a Site Manager to take full responsibility for delivering small to medium-sized cabling projects—or discrete elements of larger programmes—within commercial buildings and office environments. This is a site-based role covering projects in London and surrounding areas, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams of supervisors and engineers to ensure all cable installations are delivered on time, to specification, and meet all manufacturer and internal quality standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with current health and safety requirements, including the preparation of risk assessments and method statements, and the enforcement of H&S procedures on site.
  • Manage site stock levels efficiently and ensure all required materials are available to support installation progress.
  • Order materials as needed to maintain workflow and project timelines.
  • Produce progress reports and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
  • Conduct quality inspections on completed works to ensure compliance with required standards.
  • Read, interpret, and update site drawings as works are completed.
  • Attend client meetings, record actions, and ensure timely follow-up and implementation.
  • Produce project documentation in line with company and client standards.
  • Develop patching schedules and oversee timely completion of patching tasks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all installations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals as needed.
  • Support urgent installation activities when required.
  • Proactively manage project delivery to maximise profitability.

Essentials:

  • Significant experience in the structured cabling and connectivity infrastructure industry, specifically within data centres and commercial/office environments.
  • Solid understanding of installation practices for Cat6/Cat6a systems.
  • Familiarity with cabling products and standards, particularly within enterprise and financial environments.
  • Proven ability to organise teams, manage workloads, and motivate site engineers.
  • Strong under pressure, able to manage multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable interfacing with clients to understand needs and ensure alignment with delivery.
