We're seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to take the reins on a student accommodation development in Derby. The project is currently in the final stages of brickwork, with timber frame construction set to commence shortly, followed by internal works through to completion in December.\n\nAbout the Project:\n\nPurpose-built student apartment block\n\nCurrently in final weeks of external brickwork\n\nTimber frame phase due to start imminently\n\nFull fit-out and internals through to handover in December\n\nYour Role:\n\nYou will be the key point of contact on-site, coordinating trades, managing health & safety, and ensuring work progresses to programme. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider team, your leadership will be critical through the final and most crucial stages of delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDaily site management and supervision of subcontractors\n\nMaintain programme and ensure key milestones are met\n\nOversee health & safety and site standards\n\nCoordinate materials and deliveries\n\nLiaise with project and commercial teams\n\nRequirements:\n\nProven experience as a Site Manager on residential or student accommodation projects\n\nStrong background in managing timber frame and internal works\n\nSMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certified\n\nAble to work to tight deadlines with a keen eye for quality\n\nWhat's on Offer:\n\nImmediate start on a live, fast-paced project\n\nSupportive team and established project framework\n\nOpportunity to lead delivery through to handover in December\n\nBarker Ross Group values and promotes equality.
