Site Manager\n\nNorth West\n\nCivil Engineering\n\nOur client, a main contractor specializing in civil engineering is looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to join their expanding team to work on projects throughout the North West. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate as our client is offering excellent salary and package as well as fantastic opportunities for progression.\n\nSite Manager Responsibilities:\n\n * Understanding the main contract and relevant clauses\n\n * Understand drawings and specifications\n\n * Ensuring works are carried out productively with the safety of other a high priority\n\n * Ensuring works are carried out to the highest standard\n\n * Ensuring schemes are delivered on time and within budget\n\n * Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings\n\n * Ensuring safety is first and foremost\n\n * Plant and Labour reconciliations to ensure efficiencies across our sites.\n\n * Communication with managers to ensure all site staff including Sub Contractors work safely\n\n * Material reconciliations and produce regular reports\n\n * Management of staff issues, performance and absence\n\n * Identification of team training and development needs and mentoring junior members\n\n * Produce and review method statements/risk assessments\n\n * Liaise with all relevant sub-contractors\n\nSite Manager Requirements:\n\n * Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent)\n\n * Civil engineering experience, highways, infrastructure, water/waste water, heavy civils etc\n\n * Experienced Site Manager\n\n * Excellent communication and people and team management skills
