Freelance Construction Site Manager Location: Aberdeen Duration: 6 Months Start Date: 19th January Day Rate: £280–£300 (DOE) VR Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Site Manager on behalf of a well-respected main contractor for a new project in Aberdeen. The project is a £2.8m newbuild steel frame retail unit, and we are seeking a Site Manager with a strong background in managing similar commercial builds, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality on site. Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of site operations Coordination and supervision of subcontractors Ensuring the project is delivered on programme and within budget Maintaining health & safety standards and site compliance Liaising with the client, design team, and project stakeholders

Essential Qualifications

SMSTS First Aid CSCS

Experience Required

Proven experience managing newbuild projects Experience with steel frame construction preferred Strong leadership and communication skills
