Site Manager

Our client, a prominent company in the construction sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Site Manager to oversee a short-term upgrade project at Reading FC's stadium.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day site activities and act as the primary on-site lead
Manage and coordinate M&E contractors, ensuring seamless integration of services
Supervise installation of high-powered audio systems and associated infrastructure
Oversee MEWP operations, ensuring safe and compliant use
Manage UPS-related works and ensure all power-critical upgrades meet required standards
Liaise with multiple subcontractors; all project delivery is via sub-contracted teams
Maintain strict health & safety compliance at all times
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure RAMS are followed
Monitor progress against programme and escalate issues proactively
Report daily on site activity, progress, and any deviations from schedule

Job Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager on M&E-heavy or stadium/arena projects
CSCS Black Card preferred, though strong experience will be considered
Competent overseeing MEWP-based works (IPAF beneficial but not essential)
Strong understanding of electrical/M&E coordination and specialist contractor management
Confident communicator with the ability to liaise between stakeholders and subcontractors
Strong H&S awareness and ability to enforce compliance
Availability to work 10-hour days for the duration of the project
