Freelance Commercial Groundworks Site Manager (CIS / Ltd Co)\n\nLocation: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire\nRate: £270 – £300 per day (CIS / Ltd Company)\nType: Freelance | Contract\n\nWe are recruiting for an experienced Freelance Commercial Groundworks Site Manager to manage a Residnetial groundworks package on a project based in Nottingham. This role is offered on a CIS or Ltd Company basis and provides a long-term contract for the right individual.\n\nThe Role:\n\nYou will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the groundworks package is delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Manage all on-site groundworks activities from start to completion\n\n * \n\n Oversee drainage, foundations, services, concrete works, and external works\n\n * \n\n Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, RAMS, and site procedures\n\n * \n\n Liaise with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and client teams\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate site documentation, progress reports, and daily briefings\n\n * \n\n Drive programme delivery and quality control\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial groundworks projects\n\n * \n\n Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of groundworks sequencing and site logistics\n\n * \n\n Ability to manage busy, fast-paced construction sites\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication and leadership skills\n\n * \n\n Right to work in the UK\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * \n\n Competitive day rate paid via CIS or Ltd Company\n\n * \n\n Long-term freelance contract\n\n * \n\n Weekly payments\n\n * \n\n Immediate or short-notice start available\n\nTo apply, please submit your CV via CV Library or contact us for further information.\n\nIf you need this shortened, made more agency-style, or adjusted for a specific rate or duration, I can revise it quickly
