Job Description

Logical Personnel Solutions are looking for a Site Manager to work on a roofing project in Hull, East Yorkshire. The right candidate will be due to start on 20th May 2026 and the job is due to last for 15 weeks.\nYOU REQUIRE AN ENHANCED DBS FOR THIS ROLE.\nKey Responsibilities\n * The site is opened and closed on time each day\n * All subcontractors and operatives are signed in and signed out\n * Worker competencies, tickets, and certifications are scanned, checked, and verified on arrival\n * Daily site reports are completed accurately and submitted on time\n * SHEQ visits run smoothly, with actions and recommendations implemented promptly\n * High standards of health & safety compliance are maintained at all times\n * Works are coordinated effectively with subcontractors to meet programme requirements\n * Any site issues are identified early and resolved proactively\n * Digital records are maintained, including completion of reports, logging inductions, and updating site information\n * Materials and resources are ordered and tracked using a laptop/tablet unaided\nExperience Required\n * Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Site Manager / Senior Supervisor role\n * Proven experience working on commercial construction projects\n * Roofing project experience (but not essential if strong commercial background)\n * Strong understanding of site management procedures, compliance, and reporting\n * Good competency with technology – able to use a laptop independently for reporting, document control, ordering materials, emails, and site systems\n * Confident managing subcontractors and maintaining site discipline\nYou must have;\n * Black/White CSCS\n * SMSTS - Must be in Date\n * First Aid - 3 or 5 Day\n * Fire Warden / Marshall\n * Manual Handling\n * Asbestos Awareness\n * Working at Heights\n * AN ENHANCED DBS\nWhats on Offer:\n * Competitive daily rate: £270 CIS / 8 hours\n * Long-term opportunity on a major commercial project\n * On-site parking / No cost\n * Well-structured site setup with clear reporting line\nIf you are available and interested, please send your CV and we will get back you in due course
