We are now looking for a Site Engineering Manager to join us at our Lake District Creamery on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As our Site Engineering Manager, you will lead the site engineering function at our Lake District Creamery to ensure people, plant, and processesoperatesafely, efficiently and in line with businessobjectives.
You will oversee all engineering activity across electrical,mechanicaland technical disciplines, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, health & safety, environmental and legal standards. This includes managing capital projects, budgets, PPM systems,stockholdingand ISO, BRC and SHE compliance.
Managing and developing the engineering team, you will create a positive and high-performing culture, supporting recruitment, training and performance management while ensuring capability is built for the future.
Additionally, you will:
- Oversee contractor controls, projectdeliveryand site compliance - Monitor and report against agreed site KPIs -Identifyoperational risks and efficiency opportunities at the earliest stage - Drive efficiency, minimise downtime andidentifycost-reduction and improvement opportunities
About You
To be considered as a Site Engineering Manager, you will need:
- A minimum of five years experience in engineering management within the food industry, although candidates with closely related experience in a similarly fast-paced, clean environment will also be considered - Project management knowledge and experience - Experience of coaching and mentoring individuals and teams - Experience of performance management of plant and equipment - Experience of performance management of people - A good general level of education, preferably to HNC/HND standard in food technology, mechanicalengineeringor equivalent
