Site Engineer – Groundworks & Civils

Aberdeen

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor for an experienced Site Engineer to join their Aberdeen-based team. This is a great opportunity to work with a respected regional business delivering a range of groundworks and civil engineering projects across the North East of Scotland.

The Role

As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for setting out, quality control, and technical delivery of groundworks and civils works on site.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting out for groundworks, drainage, foundations, roads, and infrastructure works
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programmes
• Carrying out QA checks and maintaining accurate site records
• Producing and reviewing RAMS in conjunction with site management
• Liaising with project managers, site managers, and subcontractors
• Coordinating with designers and resolving technical queries
• Maintaining health & safety standards on site
• Assisting with as-built records and handover documentation

About You

We are keen to speak with Site Engineers who have a solid background in groundworks and civil engineering projects. xbpsjku

You will ideally have:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer within groundworks or civils
• Strong setting-out skills using GPS, total station, and AutoCAD
• Good understanding of drainage, earthworks, concrete, and infrastructure works
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Ability to work well within a site-based team
• Full UK driving licence
