Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Site Engineer on a Permanent basis, based in North West.
Role Summary
Our Highways work collaboratively with our customers to deliver critical national infrastructure projects across England’s highway network, as well as major built environment and flood alleviation projects in our towns and cities. Our goals are to:
Working within our Highways Business Unit, and forming a part of the Operational team, the Senior Site Engineer plays an integral part in delivering schemes to a high standard, on time and budget. Reporting to the Sub Agent, core responsibilities encompass project delivery in line with our lean construction process and effective QESH management.
● Setting out, levelling and surveying the construction site
● Ensure compliance with construction drawings and record any variances
● Overseeing quality control
● Ensure Site diaries and allocation sheets are produced
● Keep contemporary records
● Review Cl32 programme with site team
● Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance
● Attend weekly site meetings
● Coordinate with the design manager to ensure that the design activities are visible and that all activities are aligned to support the programme
