Site Engineer - Infrastructure (Norwich)

Are you a motivated Site Engineer looking to progress your experience in the civil engineering sector. Are you keen to work on a large and busy project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading project team delivering a significant civil engineering scheme in the region.

This is a permanent role, offering up to £35,000 + car allowance + full package.

As a Site Engineer, you'll work with the delivery team to ensure high‑quality construction works are delivered across your section of the project. Working alongside the Section Engineer and the wider project team, you will plan, oversee and ensure all works are delivered safely, accurately and in full compliance with engineering standards.

Role and Responsibilities

Work closely with engineers, supervisors, designers and client representatives on a daily basis. Prepare and review temporary works design briefs, ensuring they are suitable for approval by the Temporary Works Coordinator. Review technical designs and collaborate with the Section Engineer to deliver your package of works. Identify and raise technical queries where clarification is required. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications for your section of works.Candidate Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or HND/HNC equivalent. Experience on highways or major construction projects (desirable but not essential). Understanding of temporary works, design processes and on‑site engineering management. Full UK driving licence (regular travel required). Valid right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available
