Shift Engineer - Paddington - £50,000 - £52,000\n\nA leading facilities management provider is seeking a Shift Engineer to support operations at a high-profile commercial building in Paddington.\n\nThis role is well suited to a proactive building services engineer with strong technical knowledge and experience working within large commercial environments, delivering safe, efficient, and reliable building operations.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nOperate, maintain, and monitor mechanical and electrical building services\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works\nRespond to faults, alarms, and building issues in a timely manner\nEnsure compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures\nSupport daily building operations and tenant requirements\nLiaise with specialist subcontractors and service partners\nComplete accurate maintenance records, reports, and shift handovers\nAssist with emergency response procedures\n\nRequirements:\n\nExperience working within a commercial building or corporate environment\nElectrical or mechanical engineering background\nGood working knowledge of HVAC, pumps, AHUs, lighting, and power systems\nRelevant engineering qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)\nComfortable working on a shift pattern\nStrong fault-finding and communication skills
