White Raven Resourcing are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to permanent recruitment services.
We are working with a national leader in their field who are seeking a Shift Engineer to work in a number 2 role to the Engineering Manager overseeing the plants PPM schedule and supporting the operation with reactive maintenance support. The ideal candidate will possess excellent maintenance and fault-finding skills and demonstrate flexibility with a hands-on approach and can-do attitude.
The duties of the role include, but are not limited to;
Completion of routine maintenance, in line with the agreed site plan. Repair and maintenance of the facility and its equipment, to ensure faults are identified quickly and production downtime is minimised. Accurate recording of all work undertaken for compliance and audit purposes. Ensuring all duties are undertaken in line with current health and safety legislation and safe systems of work - experience with COSHH and chemicals an advantage.
Requirements You will be an experienced multi-skilled engineering with either electrical or mechanical bias, qualified to NVQ level 3 & 4 with a HND giving a distinct advantage, or a City & Guilds equivalent. All candidates must be apprentice trained, BTEC.
