working on

PLCs, inverter drives, motors, conveyors, control panels and production-critical plant . If you enjoy proper fault-finding, hands-on plant engineering and being trusted to make decisions on shift, this is the kind of opportunity worth serious consideration. WHAT YOULL BE DOING

As the

Electrical Engineer on shift , you will be trusted to diagnose faults quickly, restore production safely and maintain high engineering standards across site. Your responsibilities will include: Fault-finding on

PLC-controlled systems, inverter drives, motors and control panels

Reactive electrical maintenance and breakdown response in a fast-paced production environment

Planned preventative maintenance across plant, conveyors, safety systems and process equipment

Electrical installations and small improvement projects

Carrying out safe isolations, supporting risk assessments and following permit procedures

Completing clear and professional shift handovers

Supporting site reliability, uptime and continuous improvement

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

This role will suit an electrically qualified maintenance engineer or industrial electrician who is confident working in a production-led environment. You will ideally have: Completed

electrical apprenticeship

or equivalent

NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical Engineering

17th or 18th Edition

qualification, with

18th preferred

Strong background in

industrial maintenance

Experience fault-finding on

PLCs and 3-phase systems

Experience in

manufacturing, process, recycling, waste, heavy plant, FMCG or similar industrial settings

Confidence working in a

24/7 continuous process environment

A calm, practical and safety-focused approach
