About the role
The SHEQ Advisor within the Regional SHEQ Team will have responsibility for supporting effective SHEQ delivery within the region supported. Supporting the operational management in their endeavours to keep our people, assets, and the environment safe from harm.
Key responsibilities
* Provide expert SHEQ guidance and support across the operating region.
* Monitor and evaluate SHEQ performance at both regional and project levels.
* Report to operational management on strong performance, best practices, and areas requiring improvement.
* Support the development and implementation of improvement actions, initiatives, and plans.
* Promote positive behaviours and address non-compliance in line with our Mindset principles.
* Lead or support incident investigations and ensure lessons learned are effectively shared.
Experience required
* Knowledge and application of SHEQ management principles and best practice within an utilities service / construction operational arena
* NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent as a minimum
* IT Skills ‚ capable use of Microsoft Office software suit (word, excel etc.)
* Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
