Operations Manager - Fire and Security - Service Management, Account Management, and Improvement (Surrey, South London, Kent, Sussex preferred) - £70,000 + Bonus/Commission + Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a background in fire alarm and electronic security systems. The role involves managing service delivery, account management, and continuous improvement within the fire and security division.

Location: Attend Surrey/Sussex office 2-3 days a week, with 2-3 days visiting customers and engineers across South England.

Benefits: circa £65,000 (£60-70k) per annum, bonus, 33 days holiday, progression opportunities, company car or car allowance.

Role: Manage over 30 staff, including office coordinators and service engineers across South England.

Personality & Skills: Proactive, tenacious, professional, client-facing, strong communicator, capable of supporting growth and service delivery improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Team Management: Provide guidance, motivate, and develop the team of technicians, installers, and support staff. Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
2. Service Delivery & Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the team meets SLA and KPI targets, improve operational processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.
3. Customer Relationship Management: Collaborate with sales and business development teams, build strong client relationships, and act as escalation point for client issues.

Skills & Experience: Proven management experience in fire and security systems, with strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of industry standards (BAFE, FIA, NSI, SSAIB) is essential.
