Service Engineer Location: London & surrounding areas Salary: Up to GBP46,000 per year. Call outs are one in six weeks. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Our clients main services they provide are Access Control, Video Surveillance Systems, Audio/Video Entryphone, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, Smoke Vents, Emergency Lighting, Gate & Door Automation etc. Responsibilities of the Service Engineer: · Corrective maintenance works - to include fault finding, troubleshooting and a first-time fix whenever possible · Remedial and small works · Preventative maintenance · Client on site liaison · Working with monitored systems in liaison with our Alarm Receiving Centre · Completion of all required site and electronic paperwork promptly and with attention to detail · Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all required disciplines. · Participate in regular ongoing internal and external technical, regulatory, and health and safety training · Participate in out-of-hours On Call Rota

Requirements of the Service Engineer: · Good communication skills with both customers and colleagues · Multi-disciplined Service Engineer · Team orientated · Strong time-management skills · Confident user of Microsoft Office and working with networked/IP-based systems · Proactive · Able to run works autonomously · The ability to supervise and motivate other engineers · Self-motivated and willing to use initiative
