£50,000 - £65,000 + Commission

We are supporting a highly respected and successful engineering manufacturer that supplies machinery into the pharmaceutical and medical industry.

Location: Merseyside

Sector: Pharmaceutical & Medical

Role: Service Engineer (electrically biased)

Responsibilities include:

1. Attending customer sites across the UK and internationally (travel can be 30% to 50%) for installation, commissioning, service, and support.
2. Executing FAT testing prior to dispatch at the UK facility.
3. Executing SAT at customer sites.
4. Collaborating with internal engineering teams to deliver technical service and ensure quality standards.
5. Maintaining documentation and contributing to equipment qualification protocols (IQ/OQ).
6. Responding to urgent service calls to ensure swift resolution and customer satisfaction.
7. Supporting project teams on wiring/testing when not on-site.

Requirements:

1. A degree or similar qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2. Previous experience in a technical service or commissioning role.
3. Exposure to regulated sectors (e.g., pharma/chemical).
4. Familiarity with CAD, control panel layouts, and technical documentation.
5. Customer-focused mindset and ability to travel internationally at short notice.
