Location: Liverpool Street – Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent Salary: £57,000 + Generous Overtime + Call-Out Allowance Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Service Delivery Manager to oversee engineering operations on a high-profile, long-term facilities management contract at a corporate banking site.
The role is based across three floors of a prestigious historical building in central London. It combines hands-on technical involvement with team leadership and client-facing responsibilities. The contract is secure, running through to 2027, and offers generous overtime, call-out allowance, and a company car—while still supporting a healthy work-life balance.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong engineering background who wants to continue applying their technical skills while stepping into a leadership role within a corporate-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of engineers delivering planned and reactive maintenance
Maintain excellent service delivery standards in a critical, client-facing setting
Carry out regular quality audits and ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements
Support escalations, including out-of-hours call-out cover as part of a rota
Provide hands-on technical assistance where necessary—ideal for someone who still enjoys working on the tools occasionally
Monitor financial performance including gross profit, WIP, and debt collection
Foster strong relationships with both the client and internal teams
Drive continuous improvement through efficient use of mobile technology and service reporting
What We’re Looking For
Experience managing or supervising engineering teams in a facilities or critical environment
Strong technical background in electrical or mechanical building services
Excellent communication and client management skills
Comfortable with attending site for urgent issues and escalations
Practical, hands-on leadership style with a commitment to high standards and team development
