, but on appointment your job title will be Section 20 Consultant We are currently seeking an experienced Service Charge & Section 20 Officer

to join our Section 20 Consultation team. You will report to the Section 20 Consultation Manager and be responsible for delivering a high-quality service to service charge payers and other stakeholders. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and teams across Southern Housing to support and contribute to delivering a high-quality and seamless Section 20 consultation service. This is a hybrid working role with an expectation of at least twodays working in ourFarringdon Office. What youll do Work as part of the Section 20 Consultation team responsible for the preparing and issuing of appropriate Section 20 notices, including Qualifying Long-Term Agreements (QLTA). Regularly calculate and issue Section 20b notices within statutory timeframes to fully protect the financial position. Work with the Service Charge team in preparation of Section 20b notices for works or services that may need to be deferred. Deliver a customer-centric service to service charge payers, dealing with their written observations, resolving customer queries and working with internal colleagues to ensure the resolution of complaints, disputes, and dissatisfaction. Support the building and embedding of the systems and processes required to support the delivery of Section 20 consultation. Work with the Section 20 Consultation Manager on preparing monthly, quarterly and annual information and reports. Maintain strong business partnering relationships with key stakeholders and to provide accurate advice and information about Section 20 consultation, QLTAs and Section 20b notices to facilitate the decision-making process. What you need Experience of legal aspects of leasehold law and regulations, especially as it relates to Section 20 and 20b notices. Strong organisational skills, able to control and deliver a range of tasks to meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively with a range of different stakeholders whilst maintaining customer service excellence. Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
