Job Description
Our Client, a respected main dealership in Northallerton, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone eager to further their career as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry, working with a supportive management team and gaining diverse experience across the dealership.
Benefits:
- Competitive basic salary of up to £30,000, dependent on experience
- OTE approximately £35,000 with performance incentives
- Working 1 in 2 Saturdays from 8:30am to 12:00pm

- Supportive management structure, including an experienced aftersales manager
- Comprehensive training on systems and processes
- Opportunities to develop skills across different departments within the dealership
- Handle customer enquiries and queries promptly and professionally as a Service Advisor
- Qualify service needs and diagnose vehicle running issues where appropriate
- Clearly explain work to be carried out and obtain customer authorisation
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer service requirements
- Maintain accurate records and relevant systems at all times
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent service
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive sector
- Strong organisational skills and a positive attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of vehicle systems and common issues
- A proactive approach to work and the ability to handle multiple priorities
