My Client is recruiting for a Senior/Mechanical Design Engineer in the Water Sector\n\nThis position is for a Mechanical Design Engineer or Senior Mechanical Design Engineer working on Water Sector Projects.\n\nResponsibilities may include:\n\nProvide design deliverables that satisfy safety and quality requirements.\nProduce design calculations and drawings for the water industry\nDirect and develop CAD technicians.\nPrepare scopes for and check output of subcontract M&E design teams\nLiaise with, prepare specifications for and review tender responses from equipment suppliers and manufacturers\nPrepare design investigations, reports and specifications.\nDesign in compliance with relevant technical, professional and group standards.\nEnsure project change for design package is fully implemented and recorded.\nEstimate hours required for design packages\nPresent at and attend meetings and design presentations\n Experience and Qualifications:\n\nExperience working in mechanical design in the UK water industry\nGraduate, HND or significant experience from technician level\nGood level IT\nRegistered with professional body and working towards chartership\nIdeally experience in Wastewater and Clean Water, Infra and non-infra\nKnowledgeable of Engineering drawing practices
