About the Role: Our client is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Modeller to join their growing UK team. This role involves contributing to high-profile UK and US projects, applying innovative, data-driven approaches to hydraulic modelling, and helping shape the next generation of modelling through automation, AI, and machine learning.
About Our Client: Our client is a major American environmental engineering consultancy with a strong reputation in water, wastewater, and stormwater management. They are expanding in the UK, providing opportunities to collaborate with leading hydraulic experts and international teams on large-scale, high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, verify, and optimise hydraulic models using InfoWorks ICM. Undertake model builds, validation, and optioneering to support project delivery. Apply programming and scripting (e.g., Ruby, VBA, R, Python) to improve efficiency and automation. Collaborate with colleagues across the UK and USA on integrated solutions. Contribute to innovation in data-driven modelling and process automation. What Our Client is Looking For:
3-8 years' experience in hydraulic modelling (consultancy or utility background). Strong proficiency in InfoWorks ICM. Competence in one or more programming/scripting languages (Ruby, VBA, R, Python preferred). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship. What Our Client Offers:
