The Opportunity

You'll be joining a talented and enthusiastic team of

Transport Planners and Engineers

who work on a diverse range of development-led and infrastructure-related projects. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to take on greater responsibility, build on their existing consultancy experience, and contribute to both

project delivery and wider business growth . You'll have the opportunity to work closely with senior management, support clients across a broad range of sectors, and develop your expertise in both technical delivery and client-facing work.

The Role

As a

Senior Transport Planner , you'll play a key role in delivering transport planning services across a variety of schemes, with responsibilities including: Preparing

site appraisals ,

feasibility studies , and

pre-application advice Producing

Transport Assessments ,

Transport Statements , and

Travel Plans Undertaking

traffic modelling

and

junction capacity assessments Liaising with

clients, project team members, and local authorities Attending meetings with clients, local authorities, and wider project teams Supporting the delivery of high-quality technical outputs across multiple projects Contributing positively to the growth, reputation, and success of the wider transport planning team

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you should have: A

degree-level qualification

in an appropriate subject A solid

consultancy background in Transport Planning Experience preparing

complex Transport Assessments Experience undertaking and/or interpreting

micro-simulation traffic modelling

using:

VISSIM or

network modelling

using: SATURN

Experience promoting

large-scale residential development

through the

Local Plan process , including preparation of associated evidence base Strong communication skills, both

written and verbal The ability to deal confidently and professionally with

clients, local authorities, and other professionals A self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive approach The ability to represent the business professionally and build strong working relationships
