Job Title: Town Planner - Private Sector Experience Required (Leeds)
Overview We are working on behalf of a highly regarded planning consultancy to appoint a talented Town Planner to join their growing Leeds team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded planning professional looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The Role As a Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of planning projects across sectors including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You will be involved in managing planning applications, providing strategic advice to clients, and supporting senior team members on complex schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals Providing clear, commercially focused planning advice to clients Engaging with local authorities and key stakeholders Supporting project delivery from inception through to completion Monitoring planning policy and regulatory changes Contributing to business development and client relationship managementAbout You
MRTPI qualified (or working towards accreditation) Proven experience within the private sector is essential Strong understanding of the UK planning system Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solvingWhat's on Offer
