To undertake commercial property management functions and transactions such as management, reviews, lettings, leases, licenses, rent reviews, acquisitions, disposals, wayleaves, easements, and valuations for the Council's owned and leased land and property portfolio. Ensure legislative compliance and professional delivery of all functions and transactions.

An exciting opportunity has become available within the Estates Service in the Place Directorate. The position is for 1 FTE (37 hours) per week.

About you

We are ideally looking for a Chartered Estates Surveyor with broad experience in managing a diverse property portfolio, including management, lettings, valuation (asset valuation), disposal, and acquisition (including CPO). Some development experience at high complexity levels with a successful track record is preferred.

You should enjoy ensuring maximum value from property portfolios and be capable of identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.

You must be an effective communicator at all levels and have a strong understanding of public sector asset management issues.
