*Duties*
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
* Supervise and support junior staff members, fostering a positive team environment.
* Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and any changes in their condition using IT systems.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members to ensure continuity of care.
* Drive residents to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to senior care and leadership.
* Driving to appointments using the homes transport
*Experience*
* Previous experience in a care home or senior care setting is highly desirable.
* Supervising experience is advantageous for those looking to take on leadership responsibilities.
* A valid UK driving licence is preferred for transporting residents as needed.
* Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with residents and their families effectively.
