*Overview* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Senior Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in a care home setting, particularly focusing on senior care. This position requires strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to follow care plans effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and comfort of residents while promoting their independence.

*Duties*

* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management. * Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members. * Supervise and support junior staff members, fostering a positive team environment. * Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and any changes in their condition using IT systems. * Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members to ensure continuity of care. * Drive residents to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport. * Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to senior care and leadership. * Driving to appointments using the homes transport

*Experience*

* Previous experience in a care home or senior care setting is highly desirable. * Supervising experience is advantageous for those looking to take on leadership responsibilities. * A valid UK driving licence is preferred for transporting residents as needed. * Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with residents and their families effectively. * Familiarity with IT systems used for maintaining care records will be beneficial.
