Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate experienced senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Salary start of £30'000 is negotiable depending on experience Duties Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene practices in compliance with regulations. Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served. Train new kitchen staff on culinary techniques and safety protocols. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative recipes and seasonal menus. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned. Experience Proven experience as a Sous or Commis Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with a passion for cooking and food presentation. Demonstrated ability in supervising and managing a team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Experience in food production techniques and kitchen management.
