Role : Senior Sommelier / Assistant Head Sommelier Location : Michelin Guide fine-dining restaurant in Mayfair Salary : up to £46,000 package, plus cash+card tips average £250/month

Situated inside one of Londons most intimate, luxurious and refined restaurants, we are looking for an experienced Sommelier to join this elegant restaurant. You will have a strong presence on the floor, engaging with guests - forming new connections and relationships; providing an exceptional wine service, always. You will have impeccable knowledge of Old-World wines with experience as Sommelier within 5* hotel/Private Members Club or Michelin star restaurant-this is essential.

Key Responsibilities: Offering the highest level of service at all times, to all guests. Understand the wine list that aligns with the club's standards of excellence and founding heritage. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging vineyards, and global wine markets Ensuring proper storage conditions and inventory control of the cellar Collaborate with the culinary team to create wine and food pairings for various menus and special events. Act as the ambassador for the restaurants wine offering, engaging with guests to understand their preferences and feedback. Required Skills & Experience : Proven experience as a sommelier in a high-end hospitality setting. WSET 3+ Extensive knowledge of global wine regions, varieties, and vintages with a focus on old-world. Strong organisational and management skills, with the ability to oversee a large wine inventory. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with members and staff.
