SummaryAs a Senior Solution Consultant, you will provide technical/functional support to prospective clients, understand their requirements, drive value from our solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will develop and deliver high-quality presentations and demonstrations, articulate advanced product features and benefits, and communicate the value to the customer. You will act as a resource and role model for less experienced Solution Consultants.ResponsibilitiesLead in multiple ways, including supporting the sales team as the expert on business process aspects of Guidewire solutions during the sales cycle.Mentor other sales consultants by creating and executing a training plan and ensuring its completion.Initiate knowledge sharing through show-and-tells or training sessions to foster growth.Lead key projects outside of active sales opportunities and run user test drive/workshop sessions, crafting strategy and execution for those sessions.Lead the creation of messaging for the customer/prospect tailored to their unique requirements.CollegialityWork as a team to identify new customer requirements and collaborate with Product Management and Principal Solution Consultants to design solutions.Provide input and support to the Solution Engineering team.Demonstrate strong teamwork, networking, and knowledge-sharing; communicate competitive insights and lessons learned from on-site engagements.Product KnowledgeDevelop deep expertise across multiple Guidewire products while maintaining specialization and expanding domain knowledge with additional products.Present end-to-end demonstrations that cover Analytics, Data, Core, and Digital storytelling; back messages with product demonstrations as appropriate.Complete product RFPs and demonstrate industry expertise; be self-sufficient in supporting demonstration environments.Demonstrate business-level, UI-level, and rule-level configurations in GWCP solutions; translate business requirements into configurations for functional delivery.Embrace AI and data-driven insights to enhance productivity and outcomes.Industry Knowledge – Commercial LinesUnderstand major lines of business insurers write, their risks, and how they’re administered in a core system; depth in areas such as distribution & sales, underwriting & rating, policy administration, claims, billing, accounting, and international considerations.Fluency in insurer economics and familiarity with regulatory contexts (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17) and local regulators across markets.Presentation SkillsPresent complex, customized demonstrations tailored to customer requirements, including full-day and multi-day scripted demos.Deliver persuasive demonstrations with strategic messaging and continuously improve content.Exhibit strong oral and written communication in English and the local language, with strong technical aptitude and a proactive stance toward AI and data-driven innovation.Travel is required; expected travel is typically 50-60% with some week-to-week variance.About GuidewireGuidewire is the platform P&C insurers trust to engage, innovate, and grow efficiently.
