We are hiring a technically strong C#/.NET Developer to work directly with front office and support teams in a dynamic and fast-paced trading environment. The role involves building and maintaining user-centric tools tailored to the needs of traders, sales, structuring, and control functions across commodities and other financial markets.

This is a hands-on development role with high business visibility and the opportunity to influence decision-making by delivering innovative, high-performance applications and tools that support trading and risk functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable, efficient, and robust software applications to support front office and control functions.
• Engage directly with end users to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver tailored tools.
• Contribute to the full development lifecycle: requirement gathering, architecture, coding, testing, deployment, support, and documentation.
• Ensure applications meet business needs and follow internal standards and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and enhancement of existing tools.
• Collaborate closely with quantitative teams, operations, risk, and middle office.
• Identify new project opportunities and propose ideas for process and operational enhancements.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Experience with .NET (C#), WPF, and web frameworks such as Angular is a strong plus.
• Strong software development experience in an object-oriented language.
• Familiarity with modern architectural patterns (e.g., n-tier, MVVM).

Domain Knowledge:

• Experience in financial markets, with a strong focus on commodities(e.g., oil, natural gas, power).
• Understanding of derivatives, both listed and OTC.
• Solid grasp of linear and non-linear risk
• Experience integrating pricing libraries and developing tools for real-time pricing and trade decision support.

Personal Attributes:

• Ability to quickly grasp complex trading concepts.
• Strong communication skills able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in a high-pressure, front-office aligned environment.

Additional Info:

• Hybrid working model: 3 days in-office required.
• Shift-based coverage within a flexible schedule: early starts or late finishes
