Your Impact

Axon is on a mission to protect life. As part of that mission, Axon Assistant is changing how public safety professionals interact with technology delivering real-time translation, policy guidance, and AI-driven support across voice, mobile, and web platforms. Its a product that demands reliability, speed, and clarity in the moments when it matters most.

As a Senior Software Engineer I , you'll play a central role in building the backend systems that bring Axon Assistant to life. Youll work across real-time APIs, LLM-integrated services, and edge-to-cloud pipelines to help first responders get intelligent, actionable support exactly when they need it.

Youll contribute to architectural decisions, mentor other engineers, and help us scale a product that will operate globally and in high-stakes environments.

Youre someone who loves writing clean, scalable services but who also thrives in ambiguity and is motivated by solving problems that dont yet have clear answers. You care about system design, performance, and shipping features that support real people doing critical work. And you bring enough experience to know when to challenge, when to align, and how to build software that lasts.
