OverviewKenton Black are recruiting for an exciting Senior Site Manager opportunity with a leading Tier 1 main contractor in the Aberdeen / Aberdeenshire area, on a permanent basis.The client is a nationally recognised contractor known for delivering complex, high-value construction projects across the UK. With a significant programme of forthcoming works in the North East, they are looking to appoint a highly experienced Senior Site Manager to lead on-site operations, drive performance, and ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of major construction schemes.ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standardsManage site teams, subcontractors, logistics, and programme delivery across all phasesEnsure compliance with company procedures, industry regulations, and all H&S legislationOversee short-term planning, sequencing, site coordination, and progress reportingMaintain strong communication with project management, commercial teams, subcontractors, and the clientResolve site issues proactively and maintain high levels of workmanship and productivityMentor and support Assistant and Site Managers to develop capability within the teamWhat You Bring / Requirements5+ years' experience as a Site Manager/Senior Site Manager within a tier 1 main contractor environment, with experience overseeing medium-to-large projectsStrong leadership skills with a proven ability to coordinate multi-trade teams and maintain project momentumExcellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across all levelsA keen eye for quality, sequencing, and buildabilitySMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and relevant construction qualifications or equivalent hands-on experienceWhy This Role?The client offers a supportive, dynamic, and collaborative environment where your expertise will be valued and your career progression genuinely supported.
