We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join our global team of 10 Salespeople located across our offices in Paris, London, Austin, and Singapore. You will act as an expert Individual Contributor focused on expanding our footprint within Europe and the Middle East. In this role, you will be a proactive "hunter," becoming an expert on Spinergie’s products—Market Intelligence (MI) and Smart Fleet Management (SFM) — to lead high-level client discussions. While this role initially focuses on individual excellence, there is clear potential for evolution into management as we continue to scale.
Responsibilities
- Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Lead the entire sales process from lead generation and qualification to closing high-value, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Strategic Prospecting: Source business opportunities using dedicated tools, your professional network, and our existing network.
- Pipeline Management: Proactively manage and grow a robust sales pipeline.
- Product Expertise: Develop a deep knowledge of our MI (big data intelligence for offshore) and SFM (digitization and performance for vessel managers) solutions to effectively demonstrate value to clients.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Project, Product, Marketing and Customer Success (CSM) teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
- Process Integration: Quickly master and integrate into Spinergie’s internal sales workflows and CRM (HubSpot) to maintain high data integrity and reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of successful sales experience, ideally within the B2B Software/SaaS environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven track record in the Maritime, Offshore, or Shipping sectors. Experience in a commercial function or in maritime tech firms is highly valued.
- Technical Mindset: You are capable of understanding complex technical implementations; we welcome both "pure" commercial profiles and engineers looking to leverage their expertise in a sales capacity.
- Sales Acumen: Experience in complex, long-cycle sales involving multiple stakeholders and high-level decision-makers.
- Accountability: A reliable, structured personality with a strong sense of prioritization and team spirit.
- Languages: Fluent English is mandatory for international business; French is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills with a focus on internal team-work and a "growth mindset".
- Location: based in London or Paris

Hiring process
- Discovery: An introductory video call with a member of the Sales team to learn more about Spinergie and the role, and for you to share your experience and motivation.
- Sales Discussion: A video call with a member of the Sales team to deep-dive into your past experiences, sales performance, and acumen.
- Collaboration: An interview with Jack, Lead CSM, including a product demo
- Business Case: An on-site interview (where possible) with the Sales team. You'll demonstrate your sales expertise through a technical case study, followed by an in-depth discussion on your past achievements.
- Culture Fit: A final meeting with Alice, the Head of People, focused on motivation and culture fit.
