We are looking for a System Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team in Wimborne, where youll play a key role in ensuring the safety and airworthiness of cutting-edge aerospace systems. As a System Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting System Safety Assessments (SSA) to both Military and Civil standards for our air-to-air refuelling and actuation systems. Youll collaborate closely with design and functional teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and contribute to the certification and airworthiness of our products. What youll do: Perform Functional Hazard Analyses (FHA), Preliminary System Safety Assessments (PSSA), and System Safety Assessments (SSA) in accordance with ARP4761, MIL-STD-882, and other relevant standards. Ensure all design changes are assessed for safety impact and support classification of modifications. Maintain compliance with CS 25.1309, DEF STAN 00-56, and other applicable regulations.
