Whether its helping them get ready for school, sharing activities, or supporting them through difficult moments, your role will have a lasting positive impact on their lives.While the role can be challenging, the progress you help young people make is incredibly rewarding.The RoleAs Senior Support Worker, you will support young people in their daily routines while helping lead and mentor a team of support workers.Key responsibilities include:Supporting young people with daily routines and activitiesHelping with school preparation, meal times, and structured activitiesSupervising and mentoring Support WorkersEnsuring young people receive the highest standard of care and supportSupporting the management team with updates and reportsPromoting an individualised approach to careMonitoring care plans and assisting with record keepingCreating a warm, homely environmentProviding emotional support and positive role modellingPlanning and participating in activities, trips and creative sessionsCompleting accurate electronic care recordsStaff must be comfortable using digital care recording systems.
