About the Role: Join a highly regarded dairy engineering team, delivering hands-on, on-farm refrigeration solutions across the West Midlands. We are looking for a Senior Refrigeration Engineer to join our client’s team, covering the West Midlands. In this hands-on, on-farm role, you will lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of dairy refrigeration systems, using your technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues quickly and effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong practical knowledge of the agricultural sector, be able to communicate confidently with farmers, understand their challenges, and tailor solutions to meet their needs. Responsibilities:

To lead the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of milk-cooling and dairy refrigeration systems To diagnose and resolve on-site refrigeration issues, minimising downtime To liaise with farm clients to ensure work is completed on time and to specification To maintain accurate records of work, including service reports and compliance documentation

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a refrigeration engineer Strong technical knowledge of dairy refrigeration, cooling systems, and related equipment Strong practical knowledge and experience in the agricultural sector (in particular dairy) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A team player who can also work confidently on their own Organised and able to manage own diary A problem solver with a reliable and respectful manner Dedicated and flexible, able to adapt to evolving business needs Full UK driving licence
