Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are looking to strengthen our Commercial team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor based at Testwood with hybrid working available.

You will report directly to the Commercial Manager and be responsible for the Commercial Management of Project(s).

Quantity surveying duties related to managing projects and work packages.
Liaising with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture, analyze, and control costs.
Collaborating with clients to ensure business requirements are met.
Managing the main contract, including identifying and raising contractual notices and correspondence as necessary.
Preparing and issuing subcontract documentation.
Assisting in managing and evaluating subcontractor performance.
Managing the preparation and agreement of payment applications.
Preparing project cost & value reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Supporting the development of junior commercial staff.

Ensure continuous professional development through external networking, conferences, and associations to stay current with industry changes.
Maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach, providing open and honest feedback.
Undertake other duties, training, and hours as reasonably required.
Represent the department professionally in all internal and external contacts, fostering positive relationships.
Take all reasonable steps to ensure confidentiality.
