Due to the award of a significant programme of works under the AMP8 framework in the South East, a Tier One civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of clean and waste water design & build projects across Oxfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering essential infrastructure projects that improve water network efficiency and reduce environmental pollution in rivers and coastal waters.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will form part of a commercial team of eight, working under NEC Conditions of Contract and collaborating closely with Project Managers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Value engineering

• Cost forecasting and financial reporting

• Subcontract procurement, including drafting complex subcontract arrangements and professional services agreements

• Change management

• Client relationship management

• Margin improvement planning

• Supporting work-winning activities, including technical input for PQQ submissions

• WIP management and cash flow optimisation

• Agreement of final accounts

Experience Required

• BSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)

• Stable career history at Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS level

• Experience delivering civil engineering, infrastructure, or utilities projects in the UK

• Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts

• Ambition to progress long-term within a leading main contractor
