Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work for a leading Main Contractor based in the heart of London. This is an exciting new role due to additional workload with new projects secured and started on site.About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor As Senior Quantity Surveyor be to work leading the commercial team on being site based on either Commercial, Mixed use, hotels or education schemes under JCT form of contract typically 2 stages ranging in value from £40 Million - £100 Million. Initially working as part of the PCSA or 2 stage, with a plan to work site based delivering the scheme within the next 3 months reporting to a Commercial Manager. With the majority of their projects across Zones 1 and 2 London. You will be responsible for but not limited to; managing packages from procurement through to final accounting Working with the team to ensure subcontractors are managed on site, CVRs, review drawings, mentor junior members of the team and work collaboratively with the internal team and clients.Responsibilities for Senior Quantity SurveyorWorking from PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accountsProcurement across all sub-contracting accountsPricing, and managing change and variations.Managing Customer and Consultant RelationshipsLeading site meetings and negotiations with clientManaging Junior members of the team, mentoring and trainingDevelop and deliver 2 stage bids and PCSA agreements.Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor 10 Years experience within Construction Quantity Surveying position with a Main ContractorGood Communication skillsTeam leadership, planning and time management skills.Ability to build strong relationships.Previous experience commercial leading construction projects from start to finish.Mentoring and training Assistant Quantity Surveyor and Quantity SurveyorsWhat we offer for Senior Quantity Surveyor This opportunity is to work for a financially stable business with a steady turnover, as a group pushing a Billion.
