About the Role: We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to commercially lead the refurbishment of a prestigious hotel project in Hertfordshire for a well-known main contractor. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of the commercial management of a high-profile project with a reputable main contractor, ensuring financial success and effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

* Take commercial ownership of the hotel refurbishment project, ensuring all financial aspects are managed efficiently and effectively.

* Lead the preparation of cost plans, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accurate financial control and reporting.

* Manage and monitor subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

* Collaborate closely with the project management team, client, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within budget and on time.

* Conduct regular cost reporting and provide detailed analysis of project performance, identifying risks and opportunities for cost savings.
