Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commerical team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality construction projects while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the business.
The Role As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial and contractual management of projects from inception through to completion. You will work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Managing all aspects of cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities Evaluating and negotiating subcontractor packages Monitoring project costs and identifying value engineering opportunities Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts Ensuring compliance with contractual and legal requirements Providing commercial support and guidance to project teamsAbout You
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with significant experience at a senior level Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial processes Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is desirableWhat We Offer
