This is an excellent opportunity to play a hands-on role within a growing regional business, contributing to pricing, tendering, and the commercial delivery of new affordable housing developments across the North West.

Key Responsibilities

Quantification and budgeting

Financial reporting and cost monitoring

JCT contract administration

Cost management

Risk and value management

Contract negotiation

Management of subcontractor relationships

About the Candidate

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Lead within the residential or housebuilding sector

Experience gained through a similar role or via internal promotion

Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials

Excellent numerical, analytical, and IT skills

Sound commercial and business awareness

Good understanding of budget management

Strong negotiation and networking abilities

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and respond constructively to feedback

Strong teamwork skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach

Willingness to work additional hours when required to meet business deadlines

Benefits Include:

Salary and package dependent on experience

25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays

Pension: 5% employee contribution + 3% employer contribution
