Senior Quantity Surveyor\n Location: Hybrid (with occasional travel into London)\n Salary: Up to £120,000 per annum (depending on experience)\nSpecialist Façade & Fire Remediation Contractor\n\nWe are working in partnership with a specialist contractor delivering complex façade, glazing, and cladding solutions to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong contractual and commercial expertise. This company collaborates with several of the UK’s leading main contractors, delivering high-quality, design-led packages across the residential and commercial sectors, particularly within London and the South East.\n\nThis is a key role supporting the delivery of external fire remediation projects, contributing directly to vital safety work that ensures compliance with post-Grenfell fire safety regulations.\n\nThe role offers hybrid working, with flexibility to work from home and attend site visits or meetings in London as required.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Manage the commercial aspects of fire remediation and façade projects from tender through to final account.\n\n * \n\n Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, valuations, and cost reports.\n\n * \n\n Negotiate and administer contracts (primarily JCT and NEC), ensuring full compliance throughout the project lifecycle.\n\n * \n\n Oversee procurement and commercial performance of subcontractors and suppliers.\n\n * \n\n Provide commercial risk assessments and support value engineering activities.\n\n * \n\n Resolve contractual and commercial issues in collaboration with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Experience working on fire remediation or recladding schemes is advantageous but not essential — candidates with transferable skills from other construction sectors are encouraged to apply.\n\n * \n\n Strong working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts is essential.\n\n * \n\n Excellent commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary up to £120,000 (depending on experience)\n\n * \n\n Hybrid working with flexible home/office schedule\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to work on high-profile, safety-critical projects that make a real impact\n\nIf this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please apply with your CV or get in touch directly with our commercial specialist, Jane Fairhurst, for a confidential conversation
