Senior Quantity Surveyor - WetherbyYou'll work directly with directors, estimators, site teams and the supply chain, taking full commercial ownership of several live projects from pre-contract through to final account. This is an environment where good ideas are listened to, commercial discipline is valued, and leadership is encouraged rather than restricted.The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial performance of multiple projects and act as a key commercial lead within the business. You will:Lead the commercial management of several projects simultaneouslyBe heavily involved in pre-construction, procurement and contract setupProduce and manage CVRs, cashflow forecasts, valuations and final accountsWork closely with estimating teams during tendersDeliver accurate monthly commercial reportingDrive best practice and continuous improvementLine manage and develop an Assistant Quantity SurveyorThis role offers real autonomy, genuine influence and direct access to the leadership team. Key ResponsibilitiesAttending scope, pre-start and client meetingsLiaising with clients, consultants and internal teamsPreparing subcontractor enquiries and undertaking cost comparisonsProcuring and placing subcontractor packagesManaging subcontractor valuations and paymentsProducing budgets, bills of quantities and cost plansManaging client valuations, variations and final accountsCashflow forecasting and CVR setup and managementRunning multiple projects concurrently About YouMinimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main or principal contractorStrong track record managing CVRs, procurement and cashflowCommercially astute with solid contractual knowledgeConfident communicator with a practical, solutions-led approachComfortable working in a hands-on SME environmentCalibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their sex, race, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
