£65,000 Contract Type: Full-time (40 hours per week) About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team delivering renewable energy projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative solar and battery energy storage (BESS) developments, playing a key role in the commercial success of projects from inception through to completion. Key Responsibilities
Manage project budgets, including materials, subcontractors, plant, and equipment Oversee subcontractor procurement, including issuing and negotiating subcontract agreements Administer contracts, including managing variations, early warnings, and risk mitigation Produce detailed commercial reports, including monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR) Act as a client-facing representative, maintaining strong professional relationships Ensure robust financial and commercial control across all project stages Requirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline (preferred) Experience working on solar and/or BESS projects (advantageous) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Solid understanding of contract management and commercial processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a site-based environment Whats on Offer
